As normal access to Nether is restricted on Mine in Abyss, you need to follow this path to obtaining Netherite.
Netherite Ingot
Can only be crafted using drops from the fifth layer of the abyss.

Blank Template Rune
Blank Template Rune is a new item necessary to craft the Netherite Upgrade.

Netherite Upgrade
The classical recipe allowing infinite duplication of Netherite Upgrades using diamonds is disabled, every Netherite Upgrade needs to be crafted from base components.
